Orlando Hosts IHRIM’s 24th Annual Conference and Exposition

Orlando, Florida December 9 2003--One of the world’s premier travel destinations, will host the 24th Annual Conference of the International Association for Human Resource Information Management (IHRIM), April 15-17, 2004 at the centrally located Rosen Centre Hotel.

Titled “HRMStrategies2004: Creating Value Through Innovation,” the conference provides attendees a unique learning experience offering more than 50 concurrent educational sessions (six of which focus on the hot topic of “HR Outsourcing”) plus discussion threads that target HRMS Strategy, Innovative Uses of Technology, Systems Implementation, Service Delivery Solutions and Applications for HR Business Processes. Add to that two Vendor Shootouts highlighting ERPs and the Small to Mid-sized Market and an Industry Panel Discussion, “Inside the Crystal Ball: HR Service Delivery 2010,” and you have an information-packed three days.

The conference features two dynamic keynote speakers. At the opening General Session on Thursday, April 15, attendees will hear Thomas M. Koulopoulos, president and founder of the Delphi Group, one of the industry’s six most influential consultants according to Information Week. Mr. Koulopoulos is the author of six books including the X-economy and his latest, The Uncertainty Principle. Tom Peters calls his writing “a brilliant vision of where we must take our enterprises to survive and thrive.” His insights will provide attendees a beyond-the-edge view of the turbulence created by the collision of technology and business.

At the luncheon on Friday, April 16, IHRIM features standup comic, author and master teacher, Judy Carter. Ms. Carter has appeared on over 100 TV shows and is the author of Standup Comedy: The Book and The Comedy Bible, the definitive guide to making a career out of making people laugh featured on Oprah and Good Morning America. According to Oprah, “Judy Carter can show you how to make your sense of humor pay off.” Ms. Carter’s expertise at teaching others to use comedy to transform their lives and careers has created a nationwide demand for her as a corporate and college speaker. Judy Carter will keep you laughing and inspire you to use humor to deal with change.

Throughout the three days, attendees will have ample time to visit more than 100 exhibits to see and hear about the latest in HR technology from the companies that set the pace for the industry. There will be specially planned networking events, receptions and valuable prize drawings. Put it all together with the sights of Orlando -- Sea World, Universal Studios, Walt Disney World and the world-class service of the Rosen Centre Hotel -- and you have the HR technology event of the year. Plus, IHRIM is featuring a Golf Tournament on Saturday, April 17 at the beautiful Shingle Creek Golf Club.
